I have been practicing acupuncture and energy medicine in central Connecticut since graduating from the New England School of Acupuncture in May of 2000 with a concentration in Japanese (Keiraku Chiryo) meridian therapy style acupuncture in the tradition of Yoshio Manaka. I now primarily practice in the tradition of Master Tung Ching-Chang and Dr. Richard Tan's Balance Method Acupuncture.
I primarily treat patients who have chronic (usually pain) conditions and who have not been satisfactorily treated with other interventions. My approach is somewhat unusual in that needles are inserted (usually) in arms and legs but not in the areas that are painful or problematic.
Robert (Bob) Robles, LAc, (CT License #158) is an NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist and has been in practice in the greater Hartford area for 22+ years with a clinical focus on the treatment of chronic pain.
